Join us for our upcoming Bloomin’ PGC Urban Farmers Open Mic Night on March 15 at 7 PM! Our focus this month is on farm stress management and mediation resources.
Dr. Alex Chan from the University of Maryland Extension will introduce the University’s Farm Stress Management program and a framework for increasing awareness of mental health issues within the farm community. Kay-Megan Washington from the Maryland Department of Agriculture will discuss mediation resources and the Agricultural Conflict Resolution Service (ACReS).
As always, we encourage urban farmers and other growers of all skill levels to attend.
