Equipment Rental

The Prince George’s Soil Conservation District offers an array of equipment for farmers and landowners to rent. Through the rental program, farmers can improve their tillage without purchasing equipment.

Cooperators are asked to bring their own hitch pin when they are moving equipment. The District does not supply hitch pins for towing. All pieces of equipment can be towed with a standard 5/8″ diameter pin, available at most farm stores. Equipment must be picked up and returned to areas designated by PGSCD staff.

The renter signs a contract with the District, receives training on proper use of the equipment and pays a reasonable fee for the use of the equipment.

Contact the District for more information about our Equipment Rental Program.
