LET’S CHAT ABOUT THE UPCOMING FARMERS MARKET & CSA SEASON!
We invite you to join us on Tuesday, February 15 at 7:00 PM for a discussion lead by YOU! We will focus on lessons learned from the last farmers market and CSA season so that we can best prepare for this year. In addition, Charlie Sasscer (UMD Extension) and urban farmer Renee Baccus (Healthy Hands of Harvest) will share an update from this year’s PGC Farmers Market Managers Meeting.
The District encourages urban farmers and other growers of all skill levels to attend. We look forward to working with the community to grow new and existing urban farms and community gardens in Prince George’s County!

Bloomin’ PGC is an initiative launched by the Prince George’s County Food Equity Council in partnership with the Prince George’s Soil Conservation District, the University of Maryland Extension in Prince George’s County, ECO City Farms, Maryland-National Capital Park & Planning Commission and the Prince George’s County Department of the Environment to support the growing urban agriculture movement in Prince George’s County.
