FUTURE HARVEST CASA TAKES THE MIC!!!

We invite you to join us on Tuesday, December 14 at 7:00 PM to hear from Samaria King, Field School Manager for Future Harvest CASA. Samaria will speak briefly about an upcoming study circle for Urban Farmers in DC and Prince George’s County. The study circle will offer a mixture of virtual and in person opportunities for farmers to share best practices, troubleshoot challenges, network and build partnerships.

The District encourages urban farmers and other growers of all skill levels to attend. We look forward to working with the community to grow new and existing urban farms and community gardens in Prince George’s County!

Bloomin’ PGC is an initiative launched by the Prince George’s County Food Equity Council in partnership with the Prince George’s Soil Conservation District, the University of Maryland Extension in Prince George’s County, ECO City Farms and the Maryland-National Capital Park & Planning Commission to support the growing urban agriculture movement in Prince George’s County.
