Bloomin’ PGC Open Mic Night

Join us, Prince George’s Soil Conservation District, along with the Bloomin’ PGC Partners, our Co-host, Linda Jones of Elements of Nature, and other local urban farming advocates for our first Monthly Urban Farmers & Growers Open Mic Night of 2023! Held on Zoom, this event is a platform for the urban farm community to collaborate and share useful information.
This Month, we will check- in and recalibrate for the 2023 season by:
· Nailing down our winter/spring Open Mic Night schedule,
· Gathering information from you for an upcoming soil testing workshop with ECO City Farms and NRCS
· We will hear from Terry Hampton (Soil Conservation District’s Spring Seedling Giveaway & Vendor Fair Event Coordinator) about participating in our 2nd annual community event, and
· Review upcoming programs and priorities for the 2023 season, as well as share our farm preparation checklists
