PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY SOIL SURVEY ONLINE!

In addition to being newly updated, the county soil survey is now part of the national online Web Soil Survey operated by USDA and NRCS. You now have access to site-specific maps and can generate reports on the soils for any area you choose.

To use the Web Soil Survey

Click the button below (you will be taken to the NRCS site)
Hit the green 'Start' button to begin.
In the new window, define your "area of interest" by entering the exact address or choose 'Maryland' and 'Prince George's County'.
Use the tabs to access Soil Map, or find specific data using Soil Data Explorer
